Dear Christians,

I write to you not as a fellow believer, but as an outside observer who has studied your scriptures with genuine interest.

This letter contains merely my observations and questions about a statement that has been widely celebrated in Christian circles. I noticed what appears to be a contradiction, and I'm genuinely curious how you reconcile it with your biblical teachings.

I'm not here to attack your faith or tell you what to believe—I'm simply asking questions based on what I've read in your own scriptures.

📢 The Statement in Question

Erika Kirk recently declared at a TPUSA event:

"We will not apologize for loving our country first. We will not be silent about our faith. We will not back down when the world tells us to kneel — because we bow only to the King of Kings."

I need to point out what appears to be a fundamental contradiction in this statement—one that your own scriptures seem to address directly.

⚠️ The Question This Raises

Her statement made me wonder: Can Christians biblically love their country first and still bow only to God?

If something is FIRST in your love, then God is not ONLY.

And if God is ONLY, then nothing else can be FIRST.

This seems like a contradiction to me, but perhaps I'm missing something.

đź“– What Your Scriptures Say

1 John 2:15-17

"Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them. For everything in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—comes not from the Father but from the world. The world and its desires pass away, but whoever does the will of God lives forever."
